Biography

Dawn Shattuck is a Sergeant with the Saint Cloud Police Department in Minnesota.  She began working for the department as a Police Assistant, June of 1995.  She was hired as a Police Officer in January of 1996.  During her time as a patrol officer, she became an FTO, defensive tactics instructor, became a member of the SWAT TEAM as a negotiator (1998-2020), and worked in specialty units.  In 2014 she was promoted to Sergeant and worked in the patrol division from 2014-2018.  She was the coordinator of Use of Force/ Defensive Tactics from 2014-2021.  Sergeant Shattuck currently serves as the sergeant of the Training Unit, with duties including overseeing department training, coordinating academies, and recruitment. Off duty she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and outdoor sports.  She is devoted to the community and appreciates being involved with department training.
