Parking control policing assistant (part-time)

qualifications

Must be able to pass and extensive background investigation and
have a clear criminal and driving record. Must be able to write clearly, accurately and legibly. Must have good reading and comprehension skills and be able to follow somewhat complex directions and procedures. Must be able to work with minimal hands on supervision. Must be accurate and thorough in the preparation of written and dictated reports. Applicant must be able to assist the public with questions, directions, etc.

Becoming a parking control policing assistant (part-time)

The 2024 wage range is $16.66/hour. 

All days of the week/all shifts (days, afternoons, nights) 25-30 hours per week.
Serve the public by enforcing parking laws, issuing tickets and assisting tow companies with towing vehicles during snow emergencies, assisting the public with directions, answering questions regarding parking laws, retrieving abandoned bicycles, traffic control, special details w/parking, and assisting Police Officers as needed.
