Biography

My name is John Swing and I started working for the St. Cloud Police Department in 2019 as a Patrol Officer which entails responding to calls for service and conducting proactive duties. In addition to working as a Patrol Officer I am also a Field Training Officer, a Reserve Officer Liaison, a UAV Drone Operator and work during the summer as a member of our Bike Unit. Some of my aspirations are to further my knowledge involving mental health related calls and partake in additional training so I can better assist individuals experiencing mental crisis. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time outside with my family or doing D.I.Y. projects around my home.
